We are conveniently located for Stafford, Stone, Stoke on Trent and the M6, making Eagle House a useful base for exploring Staffordshire or a convenient overnight stop when travelling through the area.

Arriving by car
If you are using a sat nav or Google Maps, entering our postcode ST21 6AX should bring you to the front of Eagle House.
However, please note that our guest car park is at the rear of the property, on Gaol Butts Road.
Once parked, please enter through the garden gate at the rear of Eagle House.

From the M6 Junction 14
Eagle House is approximately 10 minutes drive (5.2 miles) from M6 Junction 14.
Leave the M6 at Junction 14 and follow the A5013 towards Eccleshall. Just before reaching Eccleshall, turn left onto Green Lane. Continue straight onto Cross Butts. Eagle House is approximately 200 metres along on the right.
From the M6 Junction 15
Eagle House is approximately 15 minutes drive (9.6 miles) from M6 Junction 15.
Leave the M6 at Junction 15 and follow the A519 towards Eccleshall. Continue along Newport Road, past Eccleshall High Street, then turn right onto Cross Butts. Eagle House is approximately 200 metres along on the right.
By Train
The nearest railway station to Eagle House is Stone Railway Station, approximately 16 minutes away by car.
Stafford Railway Station is a similar distance from Eagle House and offers a wider range of train services, making it a convenient option for guests travelling by rail.
From Stafford station, you can continue to Eccleshall by local bus or taxi.
By Bus
Eccleshall is served by bus routes connecting the town with Stafford and with Stone and Barlaston Park, outside Stoke-on-Trent.
Bus services can change, so we recommend checking the latest timetable before travelling.
By Bike
Eccleshall is a popular stop-off for cyclists and makes a great base for exploring the surrounding Staffordshire countryside.
Guests are welcome to store bicycles in our garages. The storage area is not accessible 24 hours a day, so please contact us before your visit if you would like to use the bike storage.
We have a bicycle pump and a selection of tools which guests can use for minor repairs and basic maintenance.
On foot
Eagle House is just a five minute stroll from Eccleshall High Street, where you’ll find pubs, restaurants, cafés and independent shops.
You can also explore the surrounding countryside on foot. We’ve created a circular walk from Eagle House, taking in Eccleshall High Street, Holy Trinity Church and the countryside around the town.
It’s an easy way to start exploring the area without getting back in the car.
