What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 3 pm until 10 pm. There is no facility to check in after 10pm.
What time is check out?
Check-out is by 11 am.
Can I arrange a late check-out or early check-in?
If you would like to check-in early or check-out at a later time, we may sometimes be able to accommodate this for a small charge. Please contact us in advance for more information.
Do you cater for special diets and allergies?
We have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.
Other special requirements can be catered for with advanced notice, simply let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Some of our foods contain allergens. Please advise if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies.
What payments do you accept?
Our preferred method of payment is via credit or debit card which we can process online or face to face.
Are children welcome?
Yes, our bed and breakfast Room 1 can accommodate one child under 12 on a fold-out bed. The Eagles Nest Apartment can also accommodate one child under 12 on a fold-out bed. Please indicate the number of guests when booking.
Can you provide a cot and a high chair?
High chairs and cots are available for some of our Bed and Breakfast rooms and the self-catering apartment. If a high chair or cot is required, please request them at the time of booking. Cots will be provided with a top sheet but we do not provide blankets for babies.
Can I bring my pet?
No, we cannot accommodate guests’ pets. However, guide dogs, assistance dogs and hearing dogs can stay free of charge. Please notify us at the time of booking if you are intending to bring such a dog with you.
Is there outside space I can use?
Yes, you are welcome to share our large garden and terrace.
Do you have anywhere I can store my bike?
Yes, you are welcome to leave bikes in our garage during your stay. Please note that 24-hour access is not available and property is left at your own risk. Please contact us before your visit to discuss.
What is the bedding made from?
All our sheets, duvet covers and Pillow cases are 100% cotton.
Our duvets and pillows contain feathers but we are happy to swap them to synthetic fibers on request.

What is the latest we can return to the house in the evening?
Once you have checked in, you can come and go as you please during your stay with us. We do ask that you respect our neighbours and other guests by keeping noise to a minimum after 10 pm. Some of our outside lights are turned off late at night so if you are expecting to be back late, please take the torch which can be found in the bed side table.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8 am until 10 am at weekends and from 07.30 am to 9.30 am Monday to Friday.
Is there free parking?
Complimentary, off-road parking for one vehicle per room is available at the rear of Eagle House. We may be able to accommodate additional vehicles so please let us know if you are traveling in multiple vehicles. Vehicles are left at the owner’s own risk.
Is wifi available?
Yes, we have complimentary high-speed internet throughout the building and on our terrace.
How long does it take to walk to the nearest pub and into town?
The Eagle inn, our nearest pub, is a 4 minutes stroll away. From there, the high street and the centre of town is only another 2 minutes’ walk.
How far to the nearest supermarket?
There is a large Co-op supermarket about 9 minutes walk away in the Town Centre.
Can I smoke?
All areas of Eagle House and its garden are strictly non-smoking. Vaping is also not allowed.
Can I borrow an iron and ironing board?
The Eagle’s Nest self-catering apartment has an iron and ironing board. We can also provide an iron and ironing board for a bed and breakfast room on request.
Can I have additional bedding or towels?
Yes, extra can be provided on request.
Do you provide a laundry service?
We do not provide a laundry service but, in Eccleshall, Beeby’s Bubbles Laundry service offers a washing, drying and ironing service
