They guided them through every step of making their own ramen bowls. This hands-on experience allowed them to work with raw clay, shape their bowls on the potters wheels and personalize them through decorative glazing and painting techniques. The result? Beautifully unique ramen bowls, each a one-of-a-kind piece of Staffordshire pottery to take home and treasure.

Not only did they get a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and skill required, but Andy and Helen also found the pottery-making process surprisingly relaxing. Between the tactile nature of working with clay and the warm, welcoming atmosphere at Dimbleby Ceramics, the class turned out to be a perfect way to unwind and tap into their creativity.

The work shop is situated above “Kiln at Number 12”, their cosy café, which serves a delicious range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals. This includes vegan options as well as the world famous “Staffordshire oatcakes”.  You can also paint a variety of pottery items, whilst enjoying your coffee. Another great experience to try!
