The Rebirth of Eagle House as a Bed and Breakfast Hotel
Between 2010 and 2016 Eagle House was completely renovated and turned into a Luxury Bed and Breakfast hotel. We have been lucky enough to be shown some of the photos and have prepared a before and after gallery to document the renovation.
Move the arrows to see the transformation!
Eagle House has a magnificent grand entrance hall with a beautiful staircase winding its way up and around to the top floor. A large Maria Theresa crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling. As shown in the pictures, it wasn’t always this way.
In 2010, the existing staircase was unstable and needed to be replaced, so a bespoke replica was built.
Rear of the property
As part of the renovation, the exterior walls were lovingly restored and painted in a striking black and white. This matches the historic appearance of the house.
The library is where we serve breakfast and is available for use through the day for our guests to relax in.
Bedroom one is on the first floor. It has a king sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. There are garden and countryside views from the window. If you want to see more pictures and video of room one, take a look at out Bed and Breakfast page.
Bedroom two is on the first floor. It has a king sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower. If you want to see more pictures and video of room two, take a look at out Bed and Breakfast page.
Most of the time we use the drawing room as our private space and it is not available for guests. However, it is possible to hire the room if you are a guest. The space is perfect for bridal preparations, family reunions or small meetings.
