Why Stay in Eccleshall Instead of Stafford Town Centre?

Stafford offers plenty to see and do, from its historic buildings and independent shops to its restaurants and cultural attractions. For your overnight stay, however, Eccleshall offers a more peaceful and characterful setting, just a short drive from the Stafford.

At the heart of Eccleshall is a lively High Street with independent shops, traditional pubs, welcoming cafés and restaurants, giving you plenty of choice for a relaxed evening. Eagle House sits just a five-minute stroll from the centre, yet its position just outside the High Street means you can enjoy the peace and character of our Grade II listed home when you return.

With Stafford town centre just 18 minutes away and Junction 14 of the M6 only 10 minutes away (5.2 miles), Eagle House makes a convenient base for exploring Staffordshire, while offering the space, tranquillity and charm of a historic market town rather than a town-centre stay.
